I'm sorry that it's taken me so long to post! I don't have a laptop phone service over here, and it's taken me a little while to find an Internet cafe.
Paris is my first stop on this trip, and I'm here for 3 days. I've been here a number of times before, and there's nothing I really "need" to see or do. My plan for these 3 days is simply to wander the streets by bike and by foot and soak in as much Parisian beauty and speaking as much broken Frence as I can.
I arrived in Paris bright and early yesterday morning, lucky to have slept enough on the plane to be a functional human being for most of the day. Just as I was getting ready to board a train from the airport to the city center, someone left an unattended bag somewhere in that part of the airport and everything shut down for 2 hours. At long last, I boarded the train and found my adorable Airbnb place in the Marais district. I spent a happy afternoon wandering the streets from Hotel de Ville to Notre Dame to Rue Moffetard and Place Monge.
